It is one of the top things to do in the area and makes a fantastic Skagway shore excursion for Alaska cruise ship passengers. It was a great experience being there. We did a family trip there. We got there by the Whitehall train out of Skagway, then by bus from Fraser. We have fond memories of the whole trip getting there and walking on the suspension bridge. We arrived in Skagway by cruise ship, and traveled to the suspension bridge as part of an excursion we signed up for.
